I just wanted to let you know what a thorough and complete job Barbara Overcash has done as my Realtor. I started my search for a new home over a year ago. I was very specific about the type of house I wanted, as well as the areas to which I was willing to move. Barbara made sure that the houses she showed me met my expectations. She was very patient and committed as I took my time. I received answers promptly to every question that I had, and she was willing to go the extra mile to meet me and look at homes. When I finally found THE house, she was very thorough in her explanation of all the paperwork and legalities that go with buying a house in this day and age. She took the time to find out information for me regarding the homeowner's association, trash pickup, utilities and any miscellaneous information I may have needed. I also had the added issue of buying a foreclosed home, and she guided me through the new laws and regulations regarding foreclosures. We do have to say that Barbara is by far the best Realtor we have ever purchased a home with. We wanted to relocate from Las Vegas, NV. to here in NC. We had found a Realtor online and planned a trip to come and view some homes. We were here for a week and only saw 4 houses. The one we liked I had found myself and happened to be listed by Barbara. We made an offer with our not so good Realtor....We loved the house so much. We felt we were not being represented well with our Realtor. So we asked Barbara to help us out and of course she did. She worked with us for a couple of months all the while we were back in Las Vegas. She would send us pictures of homes everyday. If we thought we liked one she would go check it out for us. We trusted her completely! We ended up finding one we really liked. So she went out took about 60 pictures. She took pictures of the whole street! She really went over and beyond for us! She went to the inspections and all for us while we were still in Las Vegas. We have dealt with quite a few Realtors, my own Grandmother is one. Gina, Thanks for your call. I wasn't able to retrieve my cell voice mail for a while due to my 20 month old son putting my cellphone in the washing machine! I now have my cell phone (a new one) up and running again. I just wanted to let you know that Barbara is an absolute Angel to work with! She is hanging in there with us as everything is going very slow on our Yuma, AZ property. She is helping advise us with the possibility of a lease option, which seems to be a good fit for us now. Barbara just seems to be interested in how we are doing, more than just us being a potential paycheck! She has been more than patient. I couldn't imagine doing business with anyone else.
